Pixie Out…..
Pixie films was founded in 2005 by James Price and Liz Colbert, who met studying production design at Kingston university in 2000. Initially the company was focused on Art direction and graphics for TV & Film, then in 2007 they teamed up with producer Mani Roberts for the feature length 'Shell Shock' written and directed by James Price. Completed in March 2009 it’s a challenging look at the effects of war on returning soldiers.
Since then Pixie films has been developing a slate of films, including 'Stargirl', 'Scarlett Redemption', 'Silent Sacrifice', 'The Marches', and 'The Lock Inn'. Many of these films are Genre based. The first film to be produced this way is 'Stargirl' a short science fiction film. This saw Pixie films renew their collaboration with producer Mani Roberts, principle photography took place in early 2015 and the film was completed in July 2017.
